Hello again! My name is Jacque Tyrrell, I’m a social worker from Baltimore, Maryland! I love me some crab cakes and football and I am passionate about mental health.

As a therapist, I'm known for being more than just a listener—I'm an active participant in your journey. My clients appreciate that I don't just sit back; I engage with them, offer real feedback, and help them develop practical strategies to tackle their challenges. My style is easygoing and inviting—I want you to feel like you’re talking to a real person, not a clinical robot.

During your time in therapy, I will challenge and encourage you to push yourself. It won’t always be easy, but you will not have to do it alone and if you stick with it, it will absolutely be worth it!

My main goal is to provide you a safe space where you can feel heard and accepted. My therapy room is a no-judgement zone, where you will be met with compassion and empathy. We will work together in creating a plan that fits your needs, tweaking it along the way if needed. Whatever your goals are, I will be sure to provide you with accountability and all of the support in the world.

In addition to traditional therapy, I also offer workplace wellness trainings designed to help workplaces handle stress and build resilience. Think of it as giving your team the tools to stop burnout before it starts.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, or getting into one of my many hobbies (lol).

Some fun facts about me:

  • I am a horror fan and looove spooky season

  • I like to get crafty

  • The beach is my happy place

 My approach

I offer an empathic counseling style, with a touch of realness, accountability, and humor – always custom to you!

  • I blend techniques to fit your needs—whether that’s a soft, supportive approach or a direct, no-BS strategy. Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I’ll never force you into a rigid box.

  • You’re allowed to be messy, complicated, and imperfect here. I believe in the power of connection (even if it’s just the two of us building your “community” from the ground up). No one deserves to struggle alone.

  • As cliche’ as it may be, mindset really does matter. We’ll work on spotting patterns that keep you stuck and build strategies to overcome them. A growth mindset isn’t about toxic positivity—it’s about spotting your strengths and weaknesses, then using both to move forward.
